Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing in at 2 pounds 8 ounces. In ICU the hospital, Ashley stayed for an entire month. Parents were advised that her heart needed surgery on Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers when doctors told her parents she had an open heart. Ashley didn't need to undergo any procedures. After two months in hospital her weight was just 4 1/2 pounds at the time of her release. Since that time, she's never been sick! She is of English, German and Irish ancestry. Her mother is from Ireland. Her acting debut was made in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was initially approached by the Ford Modeling Agency when she reached the age of eight. She has worked consistently and remains at the Agency. Ashley wanted to become an actress at the young age of just 10. Ashley was able to do over 35 commercials. She then moved into the stage. Ashley was able to find her calling. Ashley focused all her attention on her acting. It left little time for modelling as well as dancing. Ashley's last appearance in ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley had a small part in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love" that was performed with Solange as well as Romeo Miller. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. She appears in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
