Ashley was 2 pounds and 8 ounces at the time her birth. She remained in ICU for a month. At Christmas Day she was told by her parents that she would need heart operation. Christmas Day was the day the doctors verified to her parents what they had begged for since she visited the hospital. She was discharged and her parents were told. Ashley was never in need of any surgical procedures. After spending two months in hospital, she was discharged with 4 half pounds. Since then, she's been healthy! Her father is of English and German origin. Her family's origins are origins from Ireland. Her first appearance as an actor was a commercial for the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley's career was furthered after the Ford Modeling Agency approached her when she was just 8 years old. She worked steadily in print and remains with the Agency. When she was 10, Ashley opted to train as an actor. Ashley went onto do 35 commercials. After that, she went into the stage. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley was able to focus all her energy on her acting. That left very less time to model or dancing. Ashley is most well-known for her character of Hannah Marin on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was featured in the Romeo Miller video (aka Lil Romeo), and also in the song of Solange"True Love. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. The actress is in the NLT's "That Girl".
