Ashley was born prematurely and weighed 2lbs 8 ounces. The hospital stay she was in ICU took a full month. Her parents that Christmas Day would be the day she needed heart surgery. Christmas Day brought answers to the prayers of her parents when doctors advised her parents that she had the heart shut. Ashley is not a patient of any kind of operation. The hospitalization she received lasted for two months, and she weighed 4 1/2 lbs at the time she left. She has been healthy ever since! Her father has English and German roots. Her mother's family is Irish. Her acting debut was in a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley was then contacted by the Ford Modeling Agency at the age of 8. She was a steady performer in the print industry and remains with the Agency. Acting was her passion from the time she was just 10 years old. Ashley was in the cast of 35 commercials. After that, she progressed to roles in the theatre. Ashley has a passion for acting. Ashley devoted all her energy in acting, and never was able to find time dancing or modeling. Ashley is best known for her role as Hannah Marin on ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley appeared in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo), and also in Solange's "True Love", music video. Britney Spears was photographed during the Vogue Magazine shoot. She is in NLT's music video "That Girl".
