Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist who is currently fighting with the Flyweight Division of UFC. She is the younger sister of the fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and then a with gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional career with her debut in 2003. She won at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in 2012 as well as The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut took place in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO after which she won two more bouts at the WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing after which she took a lengthy absence of MMA. She came back in 2017, when she fought Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa in an unanimous decision. She then went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina used her superior striking abilities and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch via knees to the body. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina received a UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi by an unanimous decision. However, she then fell in her second fight due to an unanimous verdict. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. This fight earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and beat Ariane. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
